MUSEUM

In the 1st quarter of the 21st c. the last persons are dying out, who still remember and can tell about authentic westernised Sanct-Peterbourg before the Bolshevik revolt of 1917.  The birth year 1912 is a natural boundary of the memory (usually from the 5th year of one's age).  This means that a still living witness of the past should be found corresponding to the following criteria:
1) born no later than in 1912, i.e. must be more than hundred years old;
2) must originate from real Peterbourgians, i.e. representatives of the local westernised culture;
3) must have grown up in Sanct-Peterbourg since his birth up to October 1917;
4) must have sound mind, not affected by sclerosis.

Surely IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO FIND AT LEAST 1 SUCH PERSON in today Leningrad (this is its real name) after more than a century of the fury of alien culture, starvation, genocide and deportations.
It is either difficult to hope to find there more than 10 such persons' descendants who could tell something about European life and culture of their parents
.
A little more probability exists to find such persons in the West, although Sanct-Peterbourg is usually associated with "non-spoilt Russia" in their mind there.  The spoilers are dreamt to be some mythological Bolsheviks, as if the latter had fallen down from the Moon, not being any authentic Ethnic Russians.  Even if comprehended that the Bolsheviks were not any foreign invaders, one tries to depict them as a culturally and ethnically alien force - "the Jews".  This is nothing else as one of old Anti-Semitic myths.  Thus the "Resurrection of Russia" is believed.
As a matter of fact Russia has authentically resurrected in 1917 when it shook itself free from the alien yoke of Sanct-Peterbourg and its West-European standards.  There is little hope that some of those few persons (being past hundred) or their descendants in the West would have courage and wisdom to acknowledge that their Town Sanct-Peterbourg was a Western Metropolis, not any capital of Russia, but that it was exactly Russia which annihilated Sanct-Peterbourg, not any Bolsheviks from the Moon, nor any "Wise Men of Zion".

Nevertheless one must try to assemble witnesses of the past, as many as possible, because they are able to confirm facts by their own word in spite of the deformed historical orientation.
Several typical westernised Middle-Class families of Peterbourgians, described in this site, more or less were connected to the flat on 2, Konyushennaya str. in the historical centre of the Town.  For more than 100 years a name of the master of this flat has been shown on the entrance door-plate there.  Although the flat has been divided into 2 communal hostel parts, the descendants of the master are still dwelling there.  If possible, one must try to find more such instances in historical centre, although this seems to be hopeless.  Such last flats (flat) ought not fall prey to alien "New Russians" after the reconstruction and sending its former dwellers to outskirts as it has been done since Soviet times.
One such flat must be converted into a Museum of Middle-Class Peterbourgian. One should collect as much as possible authentic material there, in order the Museum could witness to the world the truth about once having existed European Sanct-Peterbourg and its citizens Europeans.
It goes without saying that such Museum may be set up only on private initiative with private means, independently from the state, to be protected from any ideologised falsehood.
